Bing Installation
Microsoft briefed us to create a brand installation that would mark the launch of their new search engine Bing. They asked that the activity be true to the Bing brand attributes of smart searches using the ‘decision engine’ and that the experience would create media noise, public intrigue and an iconic press image. We responded with a mesmerisingly beautiful and solidly erect searchlight that dominated the Seattle skyline and could be seen from space over the course of the launch weekend. Local blogs buzzed with debate over the genesis of the monolithic light and the activity captured the collective imagination.

Taming Alaska Shoot
Behind the scenes of the Taming Alaska shoot. An amazing journey for us all. To capture the first decent snowboard segments of the film we flew out out of Yakutat deep into the St.Elias mountain range on Big Al’s chopper. It was a life affirming flight. Upon landing Al explained to us that we would be the first humans to ever set foot on the unnamed mountain that we were to ride. These Alaskan peaks were so remote, immense and inhospitable that they remained largely unnamed and explored. These images were captured on a Lomo camera shooting Agfa Precisa slide film, that was then cross processed.

We were asked to develop an activation platform for Zune sponsorship of CMJ in New York. In response we designed and published a music magazine for distribution at hip New York stores, news stands and at music venues in the city – promoting Zune event talent and highlights of the CMJ lineup. The magazine was concurrently published outdoors on wild posting sites in and around key music venues to enhance ownership of the event and visibility in downtown Manhattan.
